Write for Us: Contributor Guidelines

If you're writing about ecommerce, you can submit your articles to our blog and reach over 10K new readers per month.

Over the past few months, we've been getting many guest post requests. That's why we decided to add a “Write for Us” page to clearly explain our contributor guidelines. Please go through these guidelines before you send us your draft.

Before you start

Check out our blog to get a feel of what we write about and who our readers are. We cover the topics that help ecommerce business owners start and grow their online stores. Our topics relate to:

Starting and running an ecommerce business
Technologies used in ecommerce
Magento ecommerce platform

If your guest post offers interesting examples, compelling images, and real-life stories, it will have a better chance of getting published.

Submission guidelines

Carefully read these guidelines before sending us your draft. We don't publish drafts that don't satisfy these requirements.

Length

Your article must be 1500+ words.

Links

You can include 1 self-serving link (nofollow). This link must directly relate to the content of the guest post, and be relevant to our blog. If your website has a domain rank of above 30 and relates to ecommerce, we might offer you to exchange links with us for 1 dofollow link on our website.

You are free to link to other quality resources to add value to the article.

Uniqueness

We accept only unique content that hasn't been published anywhere. Once published on our blog you cannot publish it anywhere else, including your own blog.

Style

Use a conversational and friendly tone of voice. We don't publish articles that produce an impression of a technical manual.

Structure

Add subheadings, bullet points, short paragraphs to make the article more readable.

Images

We only accept drafts that have high-quality images, graphics, or videos. Your image width should be at least 580 pixels. Please send them as a separate attachment. Make sure not to violate copyright when using images. Give credit when needed.

Editing

We reserve the right to do minor edits to your article.

Scheduling

If we have selected your article, you’ll hear from us. We normally publish guest posts anywhere from one to four weeks after it has been submitted. In rare instances, we might publish it sooner, or longer.

Bio

Your bio may include one link to your website.

Once we approve your idea, write the draft, and send it to us at write@elogic.co as a Google Doc.

❗Please note we will not pay for your articles. If you’re a professional writer and think you can regularly write articles for us, contact us with some previous writing samples.
