We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at our Ecommerce agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background coupled with extensive experience in e-commerce platforms, with Magento expertise being a priority. Additionally, the candidate should possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, along with a solid understanding of business analysis theory and processes. Experience in conducting discovery phases for projects is beneficial.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience on the same position
- Technical background with experience in code development, testing, or a science education
- Proficiency in analyzing complex business problems and translating them into technical requirements
- Еxperience with ecommerce platforms, with a focus on Magento
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Good knowledge of business analysis theory and processes, including backlog management, requirements documentation lifecycle, BPML, and UML
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct requirements-gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations to capture detailed business needs and system requirements effectively
- Lead review sessions for finalized business and functional requirements with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and secure approval
- Conduct backlog reviews and clarifications before and after sprint planning to keep priorities clear, support sprint goals, and ensure a well-organized workflow
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business units and support functions, developing a deep understanding of their needs and challenges
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise, leverage out-of-the-box functionality wherever possible, and assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Leverage strong experience in system integrations to support seamless data and process flows between systems
- Contribute to designing and refining workflows, offering expert insight into creating efficient workflow processes
- Oversee the Jira ticketing system, addressing incidents and requests from end-users by analyzing them and either providing a direct resolution or escalating them to other IT teams as needed
- Assist in UAT execution, working closely with business leads and project managers to confirm that solutions meet expectations and to obtain final signoff
