Summary
Key takeaways
- These are 50 B2B ecommerce website examples, grouped by the buyer job each one does best, not by platform or looks.
- Each example shows at least two of ten B2B buying capabilities. The most common is stock, lead time or pickup (22 of 50); account pricing and catalogs and technical search and filters each appear in 17 of 50.
- 19 of the 50 examples come from European companies, which gives European teams local reference points.
- The strongest B2B sites shorten a known buyer’s job: find by part number, see my price and stock, order a list, get a quote, pay on terms.
- Marketplaces such as Amazon Business and Faire set buyer expectations for approvals and payment terms, even for single-seller stores.
- No company paid to appear. Elogic Commerce clients are outside the 50 and shown separately.
When this applies
Use this list when you plan, brief or redesign a B2B ecommerce site for a distributor, manufacturer, wholesaler or brand that sells to professional buyers, and you want proven patterns to show your team.
When this does not apply
It is not a list of the best-looking B2B marketing websites, and it is not a platform comparison. For how a portal works behind the login, see the portal guide linked in the patterns section.
Checklist
- Pick the group that matches your buyers’ main job.
- Open three examples from that group and one from another group.
- Write down the one pattern from each that your buyers need.
- Check which of the ten capabilities your current site has.
- Put the missing capabilities in your brief as acceptance criteria.
Common pitfalls
- Copying a design instead of a workflow.
- Picking examples from a different buyer job than yours.
- Assuming a feature is public when the example shows it only after login.
- Adding features without the ERP and PIM data that makes them work.
By Paul Okhrem, CEO and Founder, Elogic Commerce. Each entry shows the date we last checked it.
Quick answer: The best B2B ecommerce website examples in 2026 are sites that make a professional buyer’s job faster. Digi-Key and Mouser lead on parametric search and lead times, Würth on scan-to-reorder, Uline on quick order by model number, Dell Premier on company-specific stores, Sysco on kitchen order guides, MISUMI on configure-to-order parts and Amazon Business on multi-user approvals. Elogic Commerce groups 50 such examples into ten buyer jobs and names one pattern to copy from each.
Disclosure
Elogic Commerce publishes this list. We build B2B ecommerce sites, so we have a commercial interest in the topic. No company paid to appear, and no inclusion depends on a link. Elogic Commerce clients are not in the 50; we show one client example separately and label it. Features were checked on the public site on the date shown on each card, and some account features are confirmed from the company’s own documentation. Examples covered in other Elogic Commerce articles are excluded and linked at the end.
How we chose the 50
We started from distributor rankings, platform case studies, industry association members and the sites that B2B buyers mention most often. Each candidate had to meet three rules.
- It sells to business buyers through a transactional website or app, not only a brochure site.
- It shows at least two of the ten B2B buying capabilities below on its public pages or in its own documentation.
- It teaches one pattern that no other entry on the list teaches better.
We excluded SaaS marketing sites, corporate sites with no buying journey, directories, consumer stores that only offer bulk discounts, examples that no longer exist, and 14 examples that we already cover in other Elogic Commerce articles. We did not rank the 50 against each other. The number is the position in the list, not a score.
The ten B2B buying capabilities
The Elogic Commerce B2B Buying Capability Rubric names the ten capabilities that separate a B2B buying journey from a consumer store. We tag every example with the capabilities it shows.

Eight patterns the best B2B sites share
Across the 50 examples, the same eight patterns repeat. Elogic Commerce uses them as acceptance criteria when it builds B2B storefronts and portals.
- Search by the buyer’s identifier. Part numbers, catalog numbers, CAS numbers and model numbers find the product (17 of 50 examples). Our B2B site search benchmark shows how often this breaks when formatting changes.
- Show stock and time before the cart. Stock, lead time, delivery date or branch pickup appear on the product page (22 of 50).
- Make the price personal after login. Contract prices, catalogs and assortments follow the account (17 of 50). This is the core of a B2B portal, and of the B2B customer portal development work Elogic Commerce does.
- Let the buyer order a list, not a product. Quick order, list upload, BOM tools and scan-to-reorder (11 of 50).
- Remember what the buyer orders. Order guides, saved lists and reorder (15 of 50).
- Quote when the price is not fixed. RFQ forms, saved quotes and instant quotes from a CAD file (9 of 50).
- Fit the buyer’s finance process. Purchase orders, terms, invoices and procurement integration (13 of 50). These features depend on ERP data, which is why Elogic Commerce treats them as ecommerce systems integration work, not front-end work.
- Serve both web buyers and system buyers. Many of these sellers also take orders by EDI. In the EU, EDI-type orders give 11.07% of enterprise turnover and web orders 8.39%, according to the Europe B2B E-Sales Index.
From our own delivery work
Elogic Commerce client work is not part of the 50. One example shows how the patterns above perform in practice.
Claspo: Shopify Plus B2B portal (Elogic Commerce client, not ranked)
Elogic Commerce built a Shopify Plus B2B portal for Claspo with CRM and PIM integration. After launch, manual order workload fell 55%, B2B landing-page conversion rose 28% and repeat wholesale orders rose 25%.

How to use these examples in your brief
- Choose the group that matches your main buyer job, and one adjacent group.
- For each example you like, write the pattern as a user story: As a buyer, I paste 40 part numbers and get one cart.
- Mark which of the ten capabilities your site already has, and which data each missing one needs from ERP, PIM or CRM.
- Rank the missing capabilities by buyer impact and data readiness, not by how impressive they look.
- Put the ranked list in your B2B ecommerce RFP as acceptance criteria, with the example URL next to each one.
- Ask every vendor to show a live example of each criterion, not a slide.

Frequently asked questions
What are some good examples of B2B websites?
Strong B2B ecommerce websites include Digi-Key for parametric search, Würth for scan-to-reorder, Dell Premier for company-specific stores, Uline for quick order by model number, Sysco for kitchen order guides, MISUMI for configure-to-order parts and Amazon Business for multi-user approvals. This page lists 50 examples in ten buyer-job groups.
What are some examples of B2B ecommerce?
B2B ecommerce examples include distributor stores such as RS and Mouser, manufacturer-direct portals such as Siemens SiePortal and Hilti, wholesale marketplaces such as Faire and Ankorstore, brand ordering apps such as BEES by AB InBev, and quoting platforms such as Protolabs and Xometry.
What are the top 10 B2B websites in the USA?
By buyer job, ten strong US examples are Digi-Key, Mouser Electronics, MSC Industrial Supply, Uline, Fisher Scientific, Sysco, Ferguson, CDW, Dell Premier and Amazon Business. Elogic Commerce does not rank them by traffic or revenue; each shows one buying pattern worth copying.
What is a B2B ecommerce platform?
A B2B ecommerce platform is the software that runs a business-to-business online store: company accounts, account pricing, quick order, quotes, purchase orders and ERP integration. Common platforms include Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud and commercetools. Elogic Commerce builds on all of them.
How did Elogic Commerce choose the 50 examples?
Each site had to show at least two of the ten B2B buying capabilities in the Elogic Commerce B2B Buying Capability Rubric on its public pages, and each had to teach one pattern that no other entry teaches. We excluded marketing-only sites, consumer stores with bulk discounts, dead examples and sites we cover in other articles. No company paid to appear.
What makes a B2B ecommerce website good?
It shortens the buyer’s job. The best B2B sites let a known buyer find a part by number, see their own price and stock, order a list in one step, get a quote when a price is not fixed, and pay on terms. Visual design matters less than these workflows.
Which B2B website examples come from Europe?
European examples on this list include Würth, Conrad Electronic, RS, Farnell, TME, Screwfix, Ahlsell, Sigma-Aldrich, Carl Roth, METRO, Rajapack, Manutan, Kaiser+Kraft, Lyreco, Bechtle, Nespresso Professional, Hilti, Siemens SiePortal and Ankorstore.
My company is on this list. Can I share it?
Yes. Share the page and link to your entry. If a fact in your entry is out of date, email office@elogic.co with the correction and the page where we can see it. We correct facts; we do not change the selection for a link or a fee.
